Common questions

My Apple Pencil is not drawing.

Check the toolbar chip: if it reads “Finger draws”, tap it to switch back to “Finger scrolls”. The Pencil writes in either mode. If it still does not draw, make sure the Pencil is charged and paired in iPadOS Settings.

Will I lose work if the app closes?

No. Every stroke is written to your iPad the moment you lift the Pencil. There is no save button, and nothing waits for a network connection.

Can I open the same notebook on a second device?

Not yet. Notero 1.0 keeps each notebook on the iPad it was written on. Syncing a notebook between devices is in progress and will arrive in an update.

The tutor says it does not have enough material.

That is deliberate. Notero answers only from the documents you uploaded, and says so rather than inventing an answer. Import the relevant document into that course and ask again.

Does Hebrew work?

Yes. The interface is right-to-left, Hebrew PDFs import correctly, and a Hebrew question gets a Hebrew answer.

Deleting your account
